Clintwood pretty well dominated the line and scored 7 times I believe with 2 being called back...so 5 tds to none for John Battle. Lots of good "popping." If sure does feel good to sit and watch some football
any word on how the scrimmages went for tonight?

Witnessed the last hour or so of the scrimmage and clintwood seems to be on key....fairly impressed by a few faces I had never seen on the field before... Defense held strong and put some good hits on JB
...any idea what time the benefit game starts next friday?

Castlewood, Kelly, and Lebanon scrimmaged in Castlewood this evening. Although they played different situations, first being 10 offensive plays for each squad, then finished up with a quarter against each other, here are a few results I can remember.
In 10 play segment:
Kelly 1 Castlewood 0
Lebanon 1 Kelly 0
Lebanon 1 Castlewood 0
In quarter action:
Kelly 12 Castlewood 6
Kelly 8 Lebanon 0
Lebanon vs. Castlewood, I didn't stay to watch.
Kelly appeared to be the strongest physically of the 3, Lebanon was the biggest, although most of the size was in the form of their skill people. Lebanon also had the most speed. Castlewood was the smallest of the three teams, but they appeared to have good skill people. All three teams could have successful seasons if they get good line play.
If they are stronger than Lebanon that says a lot. The Pioneers put a whippin on Clintwood last year.
I wouldn't say it was overwhelming, and may not actually be stronger than Lebanon...lol. Like I said, Lebanon had some big receivers and both QBs were big. I don't know what grade some of the Lebanon kids were in but there were possibly a D1 prospect or two on the their team, meaning they were big and could run.
i think clintwood has a couple d1 or d2 prospects myself from watching the game tonight
How did Pound look? St. Paul?
